News from your company, questions for your colleagues and updates from across the group: from now on, you will find them all in Engage. This guide helps you install the app in a few minutes and shows you how to use it.

Engage brings together colleagues from every company within Groep Van Roey. You read the news, follow communities on topics that interest you and ask questions to people who know the answer. Wistetal remains the place for documents, procedures and official information. Engage adds the conversation.

Download the app and sign in.
In the App Store and the Google Play Store, the app is called Viva Engage, published by Microsoft Corporation. Choose the guide for your device.
iPhone
Open the App Store and tap Search at the bottom.
Type Viva Engage and choose the app by Microsoft Corporation.
Tap Get and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your Apple password.
Open the app and sign in with your work email address and your usual password.
Allow notifications so you never miss important news.
Android
Open the Google Play Store and tap the search bar at the top.
Type Viva Engage and choose the app by Microsoft Corporation.
Tap Install and wait until the download is complete.
Open the app and sign in with your work email address and your usual password.
Allow notifications so you never miss important news.
Does the app ask for an extra confirmation? Approve the sign-in in the Microsoft Authenticator app, just like for Outlook or Teams. Your work email address looks like [firstname.lastname@company.be].

Six things worth trying in your first week.
Read your home feed
The first tab at the bottom is your Home feed. It shows posts from your communities and news from the group. Scroll down for older posts.
Follow communities
Open the Communities tab, search for your company or a topic and join. For a private community, you request to join. This way you choose what you see.
React and like
Below a post, tap a reaction icon or write a reply. A short reaction shows you have read the post.
Write a post
Open a community and start a new post. Feel free to add a photo from the site. [Specify who can post at launch.]
Set your notifications
Tap the last tab at the bottom right, View all, and choose Settings. There you decide which posts send you a notification.
Find what you need
Use the magnifying glass to find colleagues, communities and older posts. Handy for an answer someone already gave.
Together we keep Engage a pleasant place.
Be respectful. Write the way you would talk to a colleague in person.
Keep confidential info out. Prices, customer data and contracts do not belong here.
Ask permission for photos. Is a colleague or customer in the picture? Ask them first.
Choose the right community. That way your post reaches the people it is meant for.
Does the app cost anything?
No. The app is free and works with your existing work account.
Do I have to install the app on my personal smartphone?
[Add the group policy: mandatory, recommended or optional, and what the organisation can and cannot see on your device.]
I mostly work in Teams. Can I open Engage there too?
Yes. Engage is also available as an app within Teams, with the same posts and communities. Whether you see it there depends on how IT has set up Teams.
I cannot sign in. What now?
Check that you are using your work email address and not your personal one. Still stuck? Contact the IT helpdesk below.
How is it different from Wistetal?
Wistetal is our intranet with documents, procedures and official news. Engage is the place for conversation: reacting, asking questions and sharing experiences.
